Hauntingly good half-term fun at Pyramids Shopping Centre

Birkenhead has been treated to some devilishly good fun at Pyramids Shopping Centre, with shoppers entertained by special performances from the cast of Aladdin, as well as themed activities in celebration of the spookiest day of year.

Families out and about at Pyramids enjoyed not one but two performances from the cast of the Gladstone Theatre production of Aladdin, which opens this December. Aladdin, Abanazar, Genie, Wishee Washee, Widow Twankey and Slave of The Ring all took to the floor for a feel-good singalong, with Princess Jasmine making a second appearance for some sensational live singing.

The entertainment continued with ‘ghouls’ and boys getting into the Halloween spirit at an arts and crafts day, where they were able to create their own scary spider hats and playful pumpkin lanterns.

Allan Beaumont, operations manager at Pyramids Shopping Centre, said: “We are really pleased that so many people came to show their support for the upcoming show at Gladstone Theatre. The stars of Aladdin gave a wonderful taster of what’s to come and I’m sure it’ll be one of the hottest tickets in town for families.

“We are also big fans of Halloween and it was great to see the little ones having a great time making their own accessories and decorations,” Allan added. “We hope everyone has had a lot of fun on their visit to Pyramids.”
