Pick up a ‘Pyramids Passport’ for a summer of family fun

Shopping centre is giving away tickets to top attractions

To celebrate the start of the summer holidays, Pyramids Shopping Centre is offering visitors the chance to win a host of prizes as it launches its Egyptian-themed summer campaign, ‘Pyramids Passport’.

Pyramids is inviting shoppers to get on board with the event, which took off yesterday with visitors able to collect a passport, which can be filled with five receipts – each with a minimum spend of £10 – and then dropped off at designated ‘passport bins’ located by the food court. Four winners will be chosen every Friday until 31 August to win trips to various family attractions.

Allan Beaumont, operations manager at Pyramids Shopping Centre, said: “With this amazing weather we’re experiencing, there’s no doubt that a staycation is on the cards for many families in the town this summer. Pyramids Passport is a fun event for our shoppers to get involved in, as we’ve got tickets to give away for a number of brilliant places around the region.

“There are plenty of opportunities to be in with a chance of treating the little ones to an impromptu day out when enjoying a regular trip to the centre. And, because it’s Pyramids, we’ve thrown a surprise in for good measure that people will enjoy.”

The centre is also home to a large 3D pharaoh installation along with lots of historical fun facts, and kids can also receive a pharaoh picker to make at home and find out which one they are.

‘Pyramids Passport’ launches on Thursday 26 July until Friday 31 August, where shoppers can collect and drop off completed passports at pick-up points located next to the food court. There will be four winners each week that will be announced on Pyramids’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pyramidsshoppingcentre.
